DR. MITCH SPOONER – DC, MS

Dr. Mitch Spooner has always had a passion for athletics. He grew up playing a large variety of different sports until he decided to focus on hockey. He spent four years playing in the Western Hockey League for the Vancouver Giants, Regina Pats, and Seattle Thunderbirds. Throughout his sports career he regularly went to a sports chiropractor for maintenance care. It wasn’t until he started suffering from a series of concussions, that he became more aware of the benefits that chiropractic care can provide.

REVIEWS

I’ve been going to Willoughby Family Chiro for a few months now, and the experience has been incredibly positive for me. Dr. Mitch Spooner is excellent to work with, and super knowledgeable. After my initial visit with him, he was able to clearly and succinctly explain where and why I was in pain, as well as simple and easy-to-follow steps on how I could help manage my pain in my workplace.
All of the other staff are wonderful as well. They’re patient, and willing to work with schedules as necessary.

Dr. Mitch Spooner has helped me tremendously with my back post partum. He is very professional and takes the time needed to sort out my issues so that my body has recovered faster after having baby. Terry (RMT) is great and focuses on my problem areas to help relieve tension. Dr. Emily McManus does chiro for my baby boy and she is amazing with babies! She is friendly and works with the little ones to help them develop the best they can. I’m incredibly impressed with the entire office and all of the help they have done for both myself and my son.

Working from home with i’m longer hours on my laptop, I deal with constant neck/back issues. I’m in a situation where I will have to constantly need ongoing Massage Therapy. I’ve seen multiple therapists, and so far Miah has shown that she has the knowledge and intuition to identify and treat everything that has come up. With other therapists, it may take multiple visits to be able to zero in on what might be causing discomfort or limited range of motion, but Miah is incredible at being able to quickly determine what the issue is, and how to treat it. I have found Miah to be easy to communicate with, and she makes you feel comfortable with her personable approach to improving your condition.
